Two Generations, One Revolution: The Birth of Tailor-Made Regeneration

In brief — Tailor-made regeneration rejects the standard. Two generations of specialists, fifty years of experience, controlled innovation. Every patient deserves a personalized surgical plan: minimally invasive, effective, fast. No sacrifice — only optimization of the biology that already exists. And 2024-2025 data now puts numbers on it.

Sintesi (IT) — La rigenerazione su misura rifiuta lo standard. Due generazioni di specialisti, cinquanta anni di esperienza, innovazione controllata. Ogni paziente merita un piano chirurgico personalizzato: poco invasivo, efficace, rapido. Niente sacrifici, solo ottimizzazione della biologia che esiste.

Picture a craftsman’s workshop, where a master hands down to the apprentice not only the techniques of the trade, but the passion for innovation. This is not a metaphor: it is the reality of the Bruschi family, where the regeneration of oral tissues became a mission that runs across generations.

From this unique encounter the Bonebenders methodology was born: the first tailor-made regeneration that combines traditional wisdom and revolutionary innovation, in the furrow of tradition.

The Word That Changes Everything: “Tailor-Made”

When you think of bone and gum regeneration, which word comes to mind? Probably “surgery”, “grafts”, “invasive”.

We want you to think of one word only: Tailor-Made.

Because tailor-made regeneration is not simply an improved technique. It is an entirely new category that ends the era of “one size fits all” in dentistry.

And one size fits all — a single treatment, identical for everyone — is very much in fashion in dentistry right now. Usually it involves sacrificing every tooth to make room for implants.

Similar treatments were fashionable in the past too, often abroad, sometimes even without implants.

The common denominator is always the same: the sacrifice of every tooth.

The Founder: When Innovation Meets Courage

Professor Gianni (Giovanni Battista) Bruschi did not improve what already existed. He created something that did not exist before: an approach where every millimetre of bone, every thickness of gum, every characteristic of the patient determines a unique surgical strategy.

Where others saw standards to follow, he saw people to listen to. Where others applied fixed protocols, he designed personal solutions. Where others promised standard results, he guaranteed results that were tailor-made.

The Legacy That Makes the Difference: Two Generations, One Vision

The secret of the Bonebenders methodology lies in a combination no one can replicate: the consolidated experience of Professor Giovanni Battista Bruschi and the revolutionary innovation of his son.

Professor Giovanni Battista represents 50 years of pure experience. Thousands of cases, every possible situation, the eye that recognizes at first glance what will work and what won’t.

Dr. Ernesto Bruschi represents controlled innovation. The ability to look at traditional techniques and ask: “Is there a better way?”

Together they created what no one else can offer: safe innovation, evolved tradition, predictable results.

Three Features, One Revolution

Minimally Invasive = More Results

We don’t “cut less” to be gentle. We cut less because, with tailor-made planning, every gesture is precise, every incision only the one that is needed, every step optimized.

Effective = Guaranteed Results

Effectiveness is not a hope. It is a certainty planned digitally, tested by experience, guaranteed by innovation.

Fast = Less Stress, More Wellbeing

Speed is born of efficiency. When everything is tailor-made, there are no hesitations, no second thoughts. There may be small corrections, but only to improve precision.

Not Just Words: The Numbers

“Tailor-made” sounds like a slogan. Recent literature says it is a measurement — and it is counted in millimetres.

A 2025 systematic review with meta-analysis compared the customized titanium mesh, designed on a computer and printed onto the individual patient’s defect, against the standard mesh adapted by hand in the operating room. Across 608 patients and over 1,300 implants, horizontal bone gain was 6.38 mm versus 3.85 mm in favour of customization (Ragucci and colleagues, International Journal of Implant Dentistry, 2025). Complications — exposures, infections — leaned toward the standard technique. More precision and fewer problems is not a paradox: it is what happens when you stop adapting the patient to the instrument, and adapt the instrument to the patient. That is the line that separates tailor-made regeneration from traditional bone regeneration.

An Italian randomized controlled trial, run in Bologna on fifty patients, brought the customized CAD/CAM mesh to a 98% osseointegration rate (Cucchi and colleagues, Clinical Oral Implants Research, 2024). Not a lucky case: a digital protocol, repeatable, foreseen before the first incision.

And then there is the chapter closest to our heart: respecting the biology that already exists, instead of replacing it. A 2025 network meta-analysis lined up the vertical augmentation techniques and found that those preserving the periosteum lose far less bone in the following months than those that lift everything and fill (Alotaibi and colleagues, Clinical Oral Implants Research, 2025). This is exactly our obsession: not to add by force, but to go along with nature. And Savov’s 2025 review confirms the rest: customized meshes, laser-printed, deliver predictable results (Savov and colleagues, Dentistry Journal, 2025). Tailor-made regeneration is born precisely here, where additive manufacturing and careful hands meet.

Why It Cannot Be Copied

There are excellent dentists everywhere. There are innovative techniques in many centres. But what makes Bonebenders tailor-made regeneration unique is unrepeatable:

The alchemy between two generations who share not only the surname, but the mission of making every patient a unique case.

The students of the Bonebenders are the only exception to this rule.

The Choice Is Yours: Standard or Tailor-Made?

When you need bone or gum regeneration, you will have two options:

Option 1: The road everyone travels. Standard techniques, standard results, standard timelines.

Option 2: The road we created. Every detail designed around you, every phase personalized for you, every result stitched onto your own mouth.

Want to Find Out If Tailor-Made Regeneration Is Right for You?

We don’t promise miracles. We design certainties.

Your regeneration deserves an approach that exists only for you. It deserves the attention of two generations of specialists who made personalization their mission.
